Last updated: May 2026
1. About QRdy
QRdy is a service operated by QRdy Limited, a New Zealand company, that lets businesses give customers real-time job status updates via QR codes. By using QRdy, whether as a business operator or as a customer scanning a QR code, you agree to these terms.
2. Using QRdy as a business
- You must be at least 18 years old and authorized to create and manage the business account
- You must provide accurate information when creating your account
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials, account access, and any QRdy exports or links under your control secure
- You must only collect customer information that is necessary and with their knowledge
- You must not use QRdy for illegal purposes or to mislead customers
- You are responsible for ensuring your use of QRdy complies with applicable privacy, consumer, and communications laws in your region
3. Using QRdy as a customer
- You must provide your real name when checking in
- You may optionally provide your email address to receive status notifications
- You may optionally enable WhatsApp or supported browser push notifications where offered
- Each tracker remains active for the validity window chosen by the business, up to 30 days
- After a tracker expires, it can no longer be updated but may remain visible in history during the plan retention period
QRdy is not directed to children under 13. Businesses are responsible for using QRdy lawfully with their customers, including where a customer may be a minor and parent, guardian, or other lawful authority may be required.
4. Free and paid plans
QRdy offers a free tier and paid plans. Free tier limits may change with reasonable notice. Paid plans are billed monthly and can be cancelled at any time. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods.
Tracker validity controls how long an individual tracker can be updated. Plan retention controls how long closed or expired tracker records remain available in history: up to 90 days on Pro, up to 1 year on Business, up to 30 days for free business account usage, and up to 7 days for anonymous/direct tracker usage unless product policy changes.
Public pricing may be shown in multiple currencies. Taxes may be included or added at checkout depending on the billing market, applicable law, and Stripe Tax calculation rules.
We reserve the right to change pricing with at least 30 days notice to active subscribers.
5. Service availability
We aim to keep QRdy available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We are not liable for losses caused by downtime, data loss, or service interruptions. QRdy is provided "as is" without any warranty of fitness for a particular purpose.
6. Account suspension
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, abuse the service, or engage in fraudulent activity. We will provide notice where reasonably possible.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, QRdy's liability for any claim arising from use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
8. Intellectual property
QRdy and its branding, design, and software are owned by QRdy. You may not copy, reproduce, or resell any part of the service without written permission.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand, except where mandatory consumer or data-protection law in your region requires otherwise. The courts of New Zealand have non-exclusive jurisdiction over disputes relating to these terms.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify business account holders by email if changes materially affect their use of the service. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
