How to manage your QRdy dashboard

The QRdy dashboard is where you see all active jobs, move them through stages, and keep customers updated. The daily workflow is straightforward: a job appears when a customer scans in, and you tap to move it forward as work progresses.

This guide covers everything you need to run the dashboard confidently on a busy day.

Navigation

The four sections of your dashboard

Dashboard

Your main working view. Shows every active job as a card with the customer name, current stage, and elapsed time. This is where you spend most of your time.

QR Codes

Download your permanent QR code, manage workflow stage names, and create additional QR codes if you need separate flows for different job types.

History

Completed and cancelled jobs stored by date. Useful for looking up an older job or checking a customer reference. Retention period depends on your plan.

Settings

Business name, address, timezone, logo, admin passcode, plan management, and notification configuration.

Daily workflow

What you actually do during a busy day

When a customer scans the QR code at your counter, their job card appears in the Dashboard tab immediately. You will see their name and the first stage of your workflow.

As work progresses, tap the next stage button on that job card. One tap updates the customer-facing page instantly. You do not need to send a message or do anything else. When the job is finished, tap to mark it complete. The customer gets notified if they opted in, their status page shows the completed state, and the job moves to History.

If you have several active jobs, the dashboard lists them all. Each card shows the customer name, current stage, and how long it has been in that state. The most recently updated jobs appear first.

Edge cases

What to do when a customer is no longer coming in

Sometimes a job gets checked in and then something changes. The customer calls to say they are collecting another day, the job was entered by mistake, or the situation is no longer relevant to track.

In these cases you can cancel the tracker from the job card. Cancelling stops the live status tracking session and removes the job from your active dashboard view. The customer-facing page will show a cancelled state.

Important: cancelling the tracker stops the live status page. It does not cancel the underlying order, repair, or booking. If the customer needs their actual job cancelled, they need to arrange that separately with your team.

Common questions

Dashboard questions from operators

Can multiple staff members use the dashboard at the same time?

Yes. The QRdy dashboard works from any logged-in device. Multiple staff members can view and update jobs simultaneously. Whoever taps the stage update first moves the job forward, and everyone else sees the change immediately.

What happens to a job after I mark it complete?

The job moves from the active dashboard view into History. The customer-facing status page updates to show the completed state. If the customer opted in to notifications, they receive a ready alert at the moment you mark the job complete. The job stays in History for as long as your plan retains it.

What is the difference between completing a job and cancelling it?

Completing a job means the work is done and the customer can collect. Cancelling a tracker stops the live status tracking session without marking the work as done. Cancelling is for situations where the customer is no longer coming in, the job was entered in error, or you no longer need to track that particular job. Cancelling the tracker does not cancel or affect the underlying order or booking.

Where do I find my QR code to print or display again?

Go to the QR Codes section of your dashboard. Your permanent QR code is available there to download at any time. You can also manage your workflow stages from the same section.
