How to turn on browser notifications for QRdy
Browser push notifications let you know the moment your job status changes, without needing to keep the page open. They work in any modern browser and require no app download.
How to enable them
Enabling notifications from your status page
Once your status page is open, look for the notification button on the page. Tap it and your browser will ask you to allow notifications from this site. Tap Allow.
You can also opt in during check-in before your status page opens. When you fill in your name and details, there is an option to enable browser push notifications. Selecting it grants permission at that point.
Browser push notifications are available on all QRdy plans. There is nothing extra to pay and no account required on your side.
Troubleshooting
If notifications are not appearing
If you enabled notifications but are not receiving them, the most common cause is that your device is blocking the browser from sending notifications.
On iPhone: go to Settings, find your browser (Safari or Chrome), tap Notifications, and make sure Allow Notifications is turned on.
On Android: go to Settings, then Apps, find your browser, tap Notifications, and check that notifications are enabled.
Also check that Do Not Disturb or Focus mode is not active on your device. These can silently suppress notifications even when permission is granted.
If you previously dismissed the browser permission prompt, you may need to re-enable it manually. Tap the lock or info icon in the browser address bar on your status page and change the notification setting to Allow.
Common questions
Notification questions
Do I need an app to receive QRdy browser notifications?
No. Browser push notifications work directly in your phone or computer browser. You do not need to install anything. They are supported in Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and most modern browsers.
Why am I not receiving notifications even after enabling them?
The most common reason is that browser notifications are blocked at the device level. Check your phone's notification settings and make sure the browser app itself is allowed to send notifications. On iPhone, go to Settings, then the browser app, then Notifications. On Android, check the notification settings for your browser under Apps.
When exactly will I get a notification?
You will receive a notification when the business moves your job to a new stage. Whether every stage triggers a notification or only the final ready stage depends on how the business has configured their workflow.
Can I turn off notifications after enabling them?
Yes. You can revoke notification permission from your browser settings at any time. In most browsers, tap the lock or info icon in the address bar when on the status page and change the notification permission to blocked or not allowed.
